| Community Health Centers, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for it's Pine Hills location. | ||
| Primary Responsibilities: | ||
| Communicate with clinician on daily basis regarding patient care. Use of electronic documentation. Administer immunizations and injections, Give treatments/procedures as directed, Label and process specimens. May draw blood from patients. Perform patient telephonic/walk in intake process and schedule appointments accordingly. Maintain supply inventories and medical stock in exam rooms and nursing station; cross train into other specialties for coverage. | ||
| Job Requirements: | ||
| High school diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Licensed Practical Nursing course required; 1-2 years med-surgical and/or 1-2 years ambulatory care setting preferred.
Gynecological, pediatric nursing or ambulatory care experience preferred. Candidate must possess excellent customer service qualities and be flexible in team job assignments in a position requiring the ability to multi-task. There is an emphasis on managing patients' situations in person and via phone by collecting clinical data and assisting the provider.
Must possess and maintain current/valid Florida LPN license. Current/valid BCLS certification required. |
